Pomegranate Seed Oil

Pomegranate seed oil is said to be an excellent benefit for the skin. The oil is extremely anti-oxidant rich, which may help improves skin elasticity, and signal old skin cells to be shed more quickly, allowing for skin improvement and regeneration.

Botanical Name: Punica Granatum

Botanical Family: Puniacaceae

Derived From: Seeds of the Pomegranate Fruit

Origin: India

Method of extraction: CO2 Extracted from the seeds of the pomegranate fruit

Aroma: Soft, Hint of Pomegranate

Physical Description: Yellow, Oily Liquid

Blends with: Can be included in any body, skin, or facial oil. Also may just be used as a base for pure essential oils and blends.

Indications:

Skincare: Pomegranate has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and revitalizing properties, which may help alleviate eczema, psoriasis, wrinkles, fine lines, and sun-damaged skin, while improving skin elasticity. The oil can also provide instant relief for itchy and irritated skin.

Spiritual: This oil is said to increase potency and stimulate prosperity

Colors:

Physical Fruit: Pink and Red

Oil: Deep Red

Contraindications: None known when used as recommended below

Methods of Usage:

Neat: Place a drop or two directly onto clean and intact skin. A couple drops on the wrists, shoulders, temples or neck. Note:

Blended as a Carrier: Use 15 drops of essential oil per 1 TBL of Pomegranate seed oil and massage over any area where you would like for healing to occur.

Bath: Place 8 drops into 3 handfuls of bath salt and disperse, or add 8 drops to vodka or whole milk

Diffusor: Follow diffusor manufacturers instructions, but typically add about 8 drops.

Room Deodorizer: Add 15 drops per 2oz distilled water and spray as desired.
