What is Cannabis Sativa Essential Oil?
Cannabis sativa essential oil is extracted using steam distillation, whereby only the aromatic molecules or â€essence†of the cannabis Sativa plant are collected. The resulting oil is rich in terpenes, which are found to have similar therapeutic effects as CBD.
CBD and other Cannabinoids cannot be extracted through the steam distillation process, which is good news since cannabinoids may inhibit the effect of terpenes.
