Note: The dosages that follow are for adults only. Essential Oils can be used for children, but only in very small dosages, and some essential oils are not suitable for children at all. Please consult an Aromatherapist and/or Read Up on Dosages for Children here.

Inhalation: Essential Oil can be inhaled directly from the bottle, but since essential oils are volatile substances that evaporate when exposed to air, it’s preferred to dab a bit on a tissue or use with a Glass Vial Pendant.

Massage Oil or Body Beauty Oil: Use 10-15 drops of essential oil per 1 TBL of carrier oil such as grapeseed, rosehip, jojoba or hazelnut oils, and massage over any area where you would like for healing to occur. This will allow the oils to absorb over time, and more of the oil’s components will be absorbed into the skin because the carrier oil inhibits evaporation.

Skincare: Use 7-8 drops of essential oil per 1 TBL of carrier oil such as Watermelon Seed, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Argan Oil and/or Pomegranate Seed Oil. Massage 3-4 drops of the prepared formula into damp skin and enjoy the glow!!

Bath: Place 8 drops into 3 handfuls of bath salt and disperse, or add 8 drops to vodka or whole milk. This is a great way to effectuate rapid absorption of essential oil. The combination of warmth and water open the pores and invite the essential oils into the body.

Shower: Soak in warm running water for a few minutes to open pores, then place 2-3 drops directly on shoulders and/or behind the knees and distribute over wet body, and rinse if desired.

Diffusor: Follow diffusor manufacturer’s instructions, but typically add about 8 drops and start the unit. Use this method for general mood enhancement, to neutralize airborne pollutants and for healing sinus and respiratory infections.

Room Deodorizer/Auric Purification and Balancing: Add 15 drops per 2oz distilled water and spray as desired.

Reiki or other Healing Work: Drop oil in the palm of hands, rub together gently and let the healing energy flow. Note: all essential oils offered by Miracle Botanicals are Reiki charged to amplify the plant’s healing intent.
